CoolSaverTM is available with and without Charge SenseTM
and as a Digital Thermostat
Without Charge Sense allows manually engaging Energy Savings Mode and Compressor Speed individually from the keyboard and all other CoolSaver features apart from sensing the lack of excess power and automatically switching to Energy Savings Mode and slowing the compressor. The without Charge Sense model also does not provide automatic switchover to a backup thermostat.

CoolSaver with Charge Sense - includes thermistor probe and spade connectors. Multi-wire cable is not included. Specify 12 VDC or 24VDC.
Option 1: Compressor temperature monitoring. Another thermistor and connector which is required if compressor temperature monitoring is needed.

CoolSaver without Charge Sense - includes thermistor probe and spade connectors. Multi-wire cable is not included. Compressor speed control and temperature setback can be individually changed via two dedicated buttons on the front panel. "Without charge sense" means that the battery voltage is not sensed and used to automatically change compressor speed and set point temperature. If required it must be done manually.

Option 1: Compressor temperature monitoring. Another thermistor and connector which is required if compressor temperature monitoring is needed.
Option 2: Additional temperature monitoring. Another thermistor which is required if another temperature in the icebox or in another space is to be monitored.

CoolSaver Digital Thermostat
We received requests for a powerful digital thermostat from customers who do not need the energy savings capability but do want to accurately control and monitor their refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
The CoolSaver Digital Thermostat does everything that the other CoolSaver products do apart from sensing charging and controlling compressor speed. The price is attractive, there is nothing similar for less.
Features include:
High and low temperature logging, indicates whether food was damaged by high temperature or frozen when you were away.
Second probe capability so that refrigeration can be controlled on icebox temperature and meaningful refrigerator (food) temperature is displayed.
Temperature alarms.
Condenser monitoring.
Serial connection to computer monitoring systems (Modbus) is included.
